The last time we last saw Terrelle Pryor on a national stage, he was imploding in Ohio State's only significant road test, a 31-18 loss at Wisconsin that ruined the Buckeyes' BCS championship ambitions and cast their star as the same inconsistent underachiever he's played for most of his career. In the meantime, Pryor has been brilliant, hitting almost three-fourths of his passes with multiple touchdowns in three straight, each a dougle-digit OSU win that has the Bucks back on the verge of another Big Ten title. For the year, he's fifth nationally in pass efficiency.
That's nice, against OSU's decidedly non-powerhouse-packed schedule. But today's visit to Iowa is the first glimpse of Pryor in a hostile setting since the flop in Madison, against an even stingier Hawkeye defense. He said this week's gameplan is one of his favorites since he's been in Columbus. If 2010 is going to come anywhere near fulfilling its potential for Pryor or his team, today is the point of no return.
