Ian Holloway's hilarious rant against FIFA and the 2022 World Cup

Infuriated by the news of FIFA considering a winter World Cup in 2022 to accommodate the climate of Qatar (and, well, pretty much everything else), Blackpool manager/press conference entertainer Ian Holloway delivered his latest great rant in front of the congregated press.

When we last left Ian's press conference variety show, he was railing against Wayne Rooney and greedy agents everywhere. Now, he's set his crosshairs a bit higher, taking aim at FIFA president Sepp Blatter (or maybe someone called Seth Blatter), UEFA president Michel Platini and even the new Blackburn owners who sacked Sam Allardyce this week.

"They're obviously so important," Holloway says of Qatar, "that we have to change when we play our tournament. It's so vital that they have our tournament, that belongs to the world -- and I think I'm a world person, aren't I? I come from England." Yes, Ian. You are a world person. We're just not sure what world that is yet.

There are so many gems in this video that it's hard to highlight them all. From his affirmation that "heads would roll...seriously" if he were in charge to making sure we understand that he thinks Platini is "useless" to his brilliant Sepp Blatter impression ("Whot?"), Holloway puts in a masterful performance. And even concludes with a "happy Christmas."

Whether you agree with him or not, you can't deny how nice it is to see a manager actually make his Friday press conference an entertaining affair.
